For the second time Nickel Technology Park Poznań organized a meeting for companies located in the Park, from the series ''Business efficiency’’. The leading subject of the meeting were additional sources from which entrepreneurs can raise funds to finance its activities.
On the beginning dr. Piotr Kwiatek, director of development in Nickel Technology Park Poznań, summarized the activities of the Park in last year for which the 2011 was a period of expanding networks. In September NTPP joined the International Association of Science Parks (IASP). Membership in this prestigious association facilitates communication between professionals working in the parks in the whole world and increases the possibility of providing services and tools to support global knowledge and technology transfer. Moreover NTPP started cooperation with Turku Science Park, which will facilitate the promotion and development of biotechnology. During this time NTPP successfully completed many projects, among them International Conference BIOCONNECT, Roadshow Nickel Incubator, or training courses and seminars organized by the BIOREGION Wielkopolska Association.
About the financing instruments told invited guests. One of them was Paweł Jodko, director of the Loan Fund Wielkopolska Agency for Enterprise Development, which provides support to both existing businesses and start-up`s. He spoke of JEREMIE loans aimed at entrepreneurs. Guests gathered at the Hall learned what types of activities may be financed with a JEREMIE loan. He explained also rules for their allocation and specific terms of repayment.
Another source of additional financing are EU subsidies. About them told Łukasz Szyszka form Advisory and Training Bureau GRANT. Tenants NTPP heard about credit technology, granted for the implementation of new technologies, which can be partially repaid in the form of the European Union as a technology bonus. Invited guests also discussed a grant for the implementation of the patented invention in the business.
Meetings with the "business efficiency" are conducted for the integration of tenants and partners of Nickel Technology Park Poznań. Another meeting will take place in the second quarter of 2012, the details will appear on the website and on our fan page on Facebook.
